Shayla is a lifelong resident of Neosho, Missouri, and a devoted public servant with over 22 years of experience serving the citizens of Newton County. Her career with the 40th Judicial Circuit Court has been marked by dedication, integrity, and a deep commitment to justice and community service.
What she does so well!
Currently serving as the Senior Court Program Specialist, Shayla works directly alongside the Circuit Clerk, where she brings a wealth of expertise in court management systems, courtroom protocol, and financial bookkeeping. Her role has positioned her as a trusted and dependable figure within the judicial system, known for her professionalism and compassion..
A welcoming presence!
Shayla understands that navigating the judicial process can be overwhelming, especially for those unfamiliar with it. She takes pride in being a welcoming presence—whether in person or over the phone—guiding individuals through complex procedures with patience and care.
Outside of her professional life, Shayla is deeply rooted in family and community. She and her husband Shawn have shared 29 wonderful years of marriage and are proud parents to three children: sons Logan and Tucker, and daughter Halley, who is married to Cody. The family is eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first grandchild in the spring. Shayla cherishes time spent with her loved ones and remains actively involved in her community, often stepping up to organize events and lend a helping hand wherever needed.
